Yeah, we know. It was magical last year. But things change that are beyond our control. Plus, new is exciting right? Maybe a little frightening? Maybe exhilarating too? Yes and Yes!!
So, we roll with it and now we have the familiar, FOKL lower level and courtyard, and we have something new, HQ. We selected HQ because there have been some great shows there in the past featuring local faves, The Conquerors, Expo 70, Monta At Odds, Surroundher, Gemini Revolution etc… People in-the-know, know and can tell you what a relaxed vibe those shows have been.
HQ was an old grocery store back in the good old days. Now in the good new days it is a remodeled art gallery/music venue in the Prescott neighborhood just 8 short blocks from FOKL.
Sam F is back and will be doing his modular visual projections and we will be featuring a 20+foot sculpture by Jorge Almodovar entitled Black Modules.
Parking
The HQ shows run from 7-10pm and the FOKL times are 8:30pm-1am. You can park at FOKL and take the shuttle back and forth. Or you can park across from HQ around Prescott Park. The shuttle will be happy to take you to either location.
